LRDG Memorabilia

Over the years that I have been working on the LRDG Preservation Society; a number of LRDG different memorabilia items have surfaced. Some were created by the LRDG Association for their annual meetings and have since become collectable. Others were made during the active years of the LRDG and are wanted by many collectors around the world. The most desirable are the LRDG Cap Badges, so much so, that fakes are common, and the new collector should be cautious when buying one.
On these pages I will try to bring to the public view a number of “authentic” LRDG artifacts. If you have one that is not shown of this page, please contact me at lrdg@Prodigy.net with a description and photos.

Less than 100 made before the die was destroyed. Most if not all of the were sold to the New Zealander's in the LRP. I have included two reproduction in this group; to note how to distinguish it from an original.

Universally accepted, that "Gunner Claude Olaf Grimsey" NZ #551 was responsible for the design of the famous LRDG Cap Badge of the Scorpion in the Wheel.
