The LRDG was disbanded in August of 1945. Very soon after the LRDG Association was formed, with plans to get together once a year. Officers were elected (in several areas), UK, NZ and Rhodesia.
The corresponding secretaries kept in contact and provided information about their members in their districts; and an annual “News Letter” was published after their get together and sent out to all those that attended and to those that could not.
On several occasions, a member would organize the production of an item to commutate the occasion. These items have added to collection craze.
Here are a few; and I know that there may be more out there that I do not know about. Unfortunately I do not know the dates when they were made. If you have that information; please let me know at lrdg@Prodigy.net and I will see that information is added to the corresponding item.
